This year I will not talk about the importance of documentary film, I will not talk about the recovery of memory, I will not insist on the unified thinking, I will not talk about our lack of financing, I will not talk about a liquid modernity, I will not talk about the responsibility of those who are elected, I will not talk about a renovation of documentary, I will not talk about the critical look at reality, I will not talk about the industry, I will not talk about the crisis or the war, I will not talk about the detention of the documentary filmmaker Elena Varela, I will not talk about the subversion of reality, I will not talk about all these ideas because I would inevitably repeat myself.

Nonetheless, I will dedicate this edition: to those who dream, to those who observe, to those who make films and to those who write theory, to those who build, to the present, to the future, to the brave and to the ones who make mistakes, to those who fly, to the skeptics, to the friends, to those that are not, to the documentary filmmakers and to the ones who try, to the producers, to the students, to the independent and to those who do not dare, to the purist, to the non-fiction ones, to the optimistic, to those with memory and to those without, to the ones who do not come, to the profesionals, to the fond, to the non-selected ones and to those who participate, to the ones who support us, to the critic, to those who look from far away, to the local and to the outsider, to those who attach labels, to the unconditional, to the invited ones, to those that we wish could be here, to those who appreciate us, to the expert, to those who encourage us to continue and to the ones who do not agree with us, to those still with illusion, to those who are indispensable.
