A walk to beautifulA look back on the incredible destiny of the English writer John Arthur Geall, the English writer who died in 1966 and who is now considered by many to be one of the best English writers of the 20th century and also one of the greatest enigmas of modern literature. This film is a fascinating trip through the life of a curious, extravagant and brilliant personage who well might be the protagonist of one of his own works.

In Paris, Eric-Maria Couturier, a gifted concert cellist, met Izumi Yamada, a 49 year old Japanese woman  that now is in and advanced stage of cancer. At a dinner, they exchanged presents to each other, a meaningful gesture in the Japanese culture. This was the beginning of a very special relationship between them. Sparked by this unexpected and deep friendship and the idea of a special musical therapy to help Izumi’s illness, Eric-Maria embarks on a 10’000 km trip to Japan. It becomes the beginning of a spiritual journey for Eric-Maria, who along the trip, discovers a more personal level and emotion in music.

A character who expresses itself from his innermost feelings, looking straight ahead to a camera which follows him patiently through his ups and downs. He will tell us his dreams, his happiness and the cause of his bitternesses and hopes.

A constant dialogue provoked by the direct clash with a reality which often turns out to be extremely raw and complex.

LADA in Russian means „sweetheart“. Such a grumpy and distrustful creature, like the persons who spend their lives in it. A vehicle they drive through reality with.

The documentary tells the amazing story of Leidy Tabares who became famous as the protagonist of the movie „The Roses Seller“ by Victor Gaviria. She left the streets on which she survived in extremely poverty to walk like a starlet over the red carpet in Cannes. She reached worldwide glory and celebrity and in her homeland Colombia she became an adored personality, posing for magazine covers and a heroine of television. Now we see her as the protagonist of her own history.

In all the cities of the world there are legendary bars and other places to have a drink. The Tiny Valli in Tallin, Estonia, is an emblematic bar which unifies day per day, night by night, people who share their sorrows, frustrating dreams and hopes in animating conversations hold in between one and another drink. We approach, thanks to the monitoring the producer chose, to the intimate life of some personalities to which we converge in a most human way.

As an old Vietnamese tradition says, her granddaughter, resident in Paris, undertakes the necessary trip to her roots to exhume and clean her grandmother’s bones to bury her in her homeland. A story plenty of emotions, admiration and respect.

This small man will be developing insofar that he gets closer to the milestones that form the true story of a revolutionary.

This movie is the attempted rescue of a poet that got lost in her own myth. It's the story of Stella, the iconoclast and incorrigible, the first punk in history, of Stella, the boxer, the Chilean Bukowski... Stella Díaz Varín.

How is life of the women in the Islamic world? To which point is our opinion based on western stereotypes? The author of this documentary travelled hitchhiking from Barcelona to Pakistan to portray the life of five battlesome women which defy conventions. Alma is cleaning up mines in Bosnia, Eren fights for human rights in Turkey. The Iranian Rakhshan, the Pakistanian Nahid and Moshgan from Afghanistan express their ideas through the arts.

Three generations of the Lykken's family live on a farm in a remote village in Norway. The mother-in-law, the daughter-in-law, her husband and the son of the couple form a peculiar family. We can look at them by means of a camera that contemplates without intervention at the development of the daily routine that takes place and is affected by the change of the year's seasons.
