New documentary strategies:
screen and space

The Master Class proposes an approaching to the new documentary strategies through the projection of the works from recognised documentary authors who opt for new expanded formats and multimedia.
The projection of some of my expanded works of the documentary field and the works of contemporary authors allow us discover how approachings and varied proposals give cause for other methods of construction and original proposals.
Some of the subjects which will be developed during the class are:

1. Influence of the Technology in the representation of the reality.  Audiovisual device and the machine as a reproduction of the real: photo and cinema. Digital image, projection and multiscreen.
2. Relationship between technology and narrative forms. The independent video and documentary: the subjective experience.
3. The documentary post-media. Support and space of perception.
4. The expanded documentary and multimedia. Diffusion channels and development methods. Onechannel diffusion, projection, multiscreening. Non-lineal projects.

Projection of audiovisual works and installations:

1 “Parálisis sobre el estado de terror”, It is a creation documentary about our recording and filing systems and about the image function in the construction of our past.

2 “Disciplina sin memoria y sin poder”, It is an expanded documentary about the relationship between Individual/Power, taking as a starting point the great effectivity of the media generation of the social consensus.

3 “Relatos de la Periferia” it is about the changes that is suffering the Delta del Plata, in Argentina, the second aquatic deep valley of the planet, its ways of life and its characters.

4 “Conductas Ilusorias” The polisemy of the image lecture in front of the text lecture is still a mystery. How do these different levels of sense can act together? And which interferences of sense are created in the several levels of lecture? The bond between Speech and Action will be always dissociated.
